If you’re looking for ways to support your neighbours and local community, here are some ideas you can consider.
Donate a coat this winter
You can donate coats you no longer need to Calling London’s winter coat drive to help keep Londoners warm.
Donations are needed in all sizes, from babies to adults, including:
- wool coats
- ski jackets
- down coats and jackets
- duffle coats
Please make sure your donation is clean, in very good condition and ready to be worn.
Drop-off points
You can drop-off your coat at any of the following locations:
- Kentish Town library, NW5 2AA
- Swiss Cottage library, NW3 3HA
- Holborn library, WC1X 8PA
- Pancras Square library, N1C 4AG
- Crowndale Centre, NW1 1BD
You can donate at these drop-off points until Tuesday 3 December.
Donate food and other essential items
You can donate food or other items such as books, bedding, toys or clothes. If you have food or other items to spare:
- Donate food to your nearest foodbank, to a local organisation in Camden that supports people with food, or leave it in your supermarket's collection point
- see which items you can donate to Little Village

Volunteer with a local organisation
Volunteer Centre Camden can help you find a volunteering role.
