Only the best known titles of a newspaper are shown, where there have been a number of changes.
Photocopying from bound volumes cannot be undertaken, however pages may be photocopied from newspapers held on microfilm. Some volumes of newspapers may not be available for use if they are extensively damaged.
For a period in the 1960s and 1970s some local newspapers were indexed. Since 1978 many newspapers have been scanned and press cut. Details of cuttings files are given below.

Newspaper cuttings
About eighteen volumes of news cuttings pre-1957 relating to Hampstead. Some volumes of cuttings on specific subjects such as murders, library events and particular organisations. The Hampstead, Holborn and St Pancras collections all contain news cuttings particularly for 1950s-1970s. Files of news cuttings from Camden Public Relations April 1990 - September 1994.
Since 1978 many items have been scanned and press cut including national and local newspapers and a number of periodicals, particularly on building and architecture. Cuttings are classified by the Camden Classification Scheme and microfilmed onto fiche.
The Heal Collection contains cuttings on St Pancras from 18th, 19th and early 20th centuries. The Bellmoor Collection has 19th- and early-20th century cuttings for Hampstead.
