The Digital Support Bus

We know that getting support and advice into communities, where people can easily access it, is a big barrier to getting online.

Staff and volunteers on the Digital Support Bus share essential digital skills and knowledge with residents in their communities. They offer advice to people at the bus location, helping those passing by and those with appointments. For anyone seeking more in-depth guidance, they provide further support after a conversation outside.

The bus works with Camden Council’s Community Wellbeing Bus team. It targets areas where we can make the biggest difference in getting citizens online. We usually set up close to a community hub.
