Resources for homelessness support professionals
Camden’s Homelessness System Programme brings together people with lived experience and organisations involved in supporting people experiencing all forms of homelessness in Camden. This 'whole system partnership' includes:
- services within Camden Council such as Adult Social Care, Housing, Homelessness Prevention, Domestic Abuse and Safeguarding, Libraries and community teams and Commissioning
- the NHS including both Primary and Secondary Care teams, Mental Health Services and nursing
- substance use services
- commissioned providers
- the voluntary and community sector in Camden
- the Justice sector
It aims to deliver an integrated and holistic response to homelessness, so people can access the care and support they need to lead the lives they want.

Priorities
Our 5 priorities for the programme are to:
- put in place trauma-informed support and psychologically informed environments
- establish integrated multidisciplinary working around residents
- create conditions for more joined-up commissioning and strategic planning
- improve access to mental health support, including co-existing drug and alcohol needs
- take a preventative approach including primary and secondary prevention
If you want to know more or to get involved in the programme, contact Rosie Clewlow [email protected].

Personal passport
You can complete a personal passport as part of a referral or assessment. It gives the homeless person more control over how they are understood and reduces the need to repeat their life story.
