Your neighbourhood housing officer can give help, support and information on fire and building safety. 

Fire Safety Advice

Contact our Fire Advisors team if you have any questions about:

  • fire safety advice in your council home
  • fire safety concerns
  • fire risk assessments
  • Camden’s policy for electric bikes, scooters, and wheelchairs

High-rise building safety

If you live in a building 18 metres or more in height or that have 7 or more floors, you can contact your building safety manager:

  • for advice and information on construction, maintenance, repair, or servicing work undertaken in your building
  • advice on how to stay safe at home and follow the fire safety advice for your building
  • live with someone who would need help to get out in an emergency

Shared area safety and unsafe behaviour

Contact your neighbourhood housing offer if you:

  • are worried about what you are allowed to keep outside your home, and for advice on what you can keep in shared areas
  • are worried about safety hazards in shared areas of your building
  • believe other residents are behaving in an unsafe way
