Caretaking services for communal areas
Caretaking services for communal areas
Our caretaking team helps to keep housing estates and street properties clean and safe. This includes:
- cleaning shared spaces on estates
- litter picking and general upkeep
- daily health and safety checks
- working with residents to report hazards and repairs
- reporting antisocial behaviour and working with Community Safety
- access and monitoring of external contractors
- promoting fire safety by removing hazards from communal areas
If you are struggling to take your rubbish to the bins
If you are an older tenant or have support needs, talk to your Neighbourhood Housing Officer (NHO). They can arrange for your local caretaker to take your rubbish to the bins on the ground floor.
If your block is not being cleaned
If your block is not being cleaned, contact the caretaker manager. You can find their name and contact details on the block schedule on the ground floor noticeboard.
If the schedule is not there you can report this to your NHO.
